Mohamed Gamal
Commissioner
Mohamed Gamal is an Associate in Gide Loyrette Nouel's International Arbitration Department in Paris. He advises on matters relating to international trade law, with a particular focus on commercial and investment arbitration.
He acts as counsel in international arbitrations conducted under the auspices of various arbitration centres (ICC, ICSID, LCIA, SAC) across sectors such as oil and gas, pharmaceutical, real estate, insurance/reinsurance, and cement, as well as disputes involving the protection of foreign investments.
Mohamed teaches Private International Law at the University of Paris and regularly coaches the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas for the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.
He is actively engaged in pro bono work with NGOs such as Droits d’urgence and the Jesuit Refugee Service.
Mohamed holds a Master's degree in Private International Law and International Trade Law from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas.
He is fluent in English, French, Arabic, and Portuguese.
