Isaac Ibikunle

Commissioner

Isaac is a multi-jurisdictional legal practitioner and scholar with a focus on international arbitration, cross-border litigation and international law.

Trained at Harvard Law School and qualified in Nigeria and New York, Isaac represents clients in commercial and investment disputes in courts and tribunals, including under the ICC, LCIA, ICSID, UNCITRAL and ad hoc rules.

He publishes in international peer-reviewed journals, and reviews for others, including recently, the Harvard International Law Journal. He sits on the advisory board of the Kabarak University Law Review, Kenya.

As a Senior Associate and Team Lead, he currently steers the arbitration practice of Olaniwun Ajayi, a leading African law firm with offices in Nigeria and London. Before then, he worked with an international law firm in Paris.
Besides law, Isaac is interested in politics. In his spare time, he loves to bike, play pingpong and vibe to music.
