Eva Keita
Commissioner
Eva is an Associate Legal Officer at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), where she focuses on public international law and interstate dispute resolution. She began her tenure at the ICJ as a Judicial Fellow. Her prior professional background includes working in international arbitration as an intern at two leading law firms in Paris.
Eva holds an LL.M. from Stanford Law School and is currently awaiting admission to practice law in New York. She completed her foundational legal studies in France, earning a law degree from Sciences Po Paris.
Committed to advancing human rights, Eva spent four months practicing human rights and criminal law with a local NGO in Togo, which advocates for inmates’ rights. During her studies at Stanford, she was actively involved in the Three Strikes Project and participated in representing an inmate sentenced to life for minor crimes in proceedings to request his resentencing under California law.
