Esther-Blessing Nasimiyu
Student Commissioner
Nasimiyu is the student commissioner on the Bureau of the African Society of International Law. She is currently a third year law student at Kabarak University School of Law. At Kabarak, she is actively involved in mooting, rapporteuring, moderating webinars, research and writing. She also runs the Bonaya Godana Project, a project under the auspices of the Kabarak University Press which aims to establish a centre for public international law in Africa.
She is currently the editor in charge of peer review for the Kabarak Law Review.
She has keen interest in international humanitarian law, psychology, public international law and human rights. Over the past few months, she was actively involved in the Inclusive Refugee Response Programme by the Royal Danish Embassy as a research assistant.
