bdel Dicko serves as a student commissioner with AfSIL. He is a JD/BCL Candidate at McGill Law School. He has previously worked in foreign affairs, human rights, and research on peace and security issues in Africa. Abdel holds an MSc in Global Governance and Diplomacy and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Oxford, where he was a Rhodes Scholar. He also holds a BA in Political Science and African Studies from McGill University, where he graduated as Valedictorian. He has served on executive committees of various student societies and is currently a Senior Editor for the McGill Journal of International Law & Legal Pluralism. Abdel has Ivorian and Malian roots and is presently based in Montreal, Canada.
